Words can’t even express the impact therapy has had on my life. When I first started coming, I felt depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and just bogged down. I feel like I’ve cut through the fog and I can see the sun again. Now, it’s just nice to have a place I can come in and dump everything and chat through stuff. Growing up I had a really bad experience with therapy and I did not ever want to go back. I decided to give it another try when I felt like I really just needed someone to talk to and to listen to me. Christine has completely changed my life and has helped me open doors in my mind that I never knew existed. She’s helped me with a lot of my past traumas and understanding why I do things a certain way and how to better myself.
I suggest and always try to refer everyone I know to her. I get a sense of peace and just overall enjoyment of life after a session with Christine. She’s my favorite person, and she’s probably saved my life more than she realized.
Therapy is like an emotional workout. It comes down to how much effort you put into it. It’s a safe setting where you can really lean into past traumas, current short comings and really helps you understand more about yourself. So often we get caught up in our day to day lives and we forget to check in on ourselves. Therapy sessions are a great time to take that break from the day to day and really reflect on yourself. Understand your own traumas, your own motivations and helps you understand why you make the decisions that you make. When you take the time to understand those things, then you can have that awareness when you make future decisions.
Solo therapy sessions have helped me feel more comfortable questioning myself. While couples therapy sessions helped grow the relationship between my wife and I. Being in a neutral setting that can be moderated, helps the flow of communication. All and all therapy gives you the tools to help you live a more peaceful and loving life.
Therapy is great because it has rebuilt my self worth, and confidence, something I never thought I could fully get back. It helps me have healthy relationships with people I love and with people I need to be cautious with, in turn, making my life a lot easier.
Helped me find the courage to set boundaries for myself which I always struggled with and it ruined a lot of my relationships. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without therapy and all the help and insights that come with it. 10/10 highly recommend
