Couples Therapy & Marriage Counseling in Las Vegas & Summerlin

Strengthening & Healing Relationships

Investing in your relationship’s health is one of the most important investments you can ever make. Just as you invest time and resources in maintaining your physical health or career development, nurturing your relationship deserves similar dedication to ensure longevity and happiness.

Marriage and couples counseling is not just for those in crisis; it is a valuable resource for any couple looking to enhance their relationship and deepen their connection.

Relationships and marriage should be fun. Think back to when you were first dating when falling in love was natural, and you enjoyed each other. Since then, you may have had kids, more schooling, jobs, bills and stress. Fun and flirtation (including intimacy) may have been replaced by responsibility and survival. If you’ve disconnected over the years or hurt feelings and resentments are getting in the way of you really enjoying your relationship, couples therapy and counseling can help.

Whether you're in the thick of a hard season or you just want to feel close again, we're here for you. The Peaceful Mind Counseling Center offers couples therapy and marriage counseling—in person and online—for couples across Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, and North Las Vegas.

Wherever you're starting from, change and healing are possible.

The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

Why couples therapy and marriage counseling?

Marriage counseling provides a structured and safe environment for couples to communicate openly and honestly. It enables partners to express their feelings, needs, and concerns in a way that fosters understanding rather than conflict.

With the guidance of a skilled therapist in the Las Vegas area, you can learn effective communication techniques that can prevent misunderstandings and build a stronger emotional connection.

Many couples who have worked with our Las Vegas therapists report significant improvements in their relationships after just a few sessions. Our specialized approach helps identify underlying patterns that may be sabotaging your connection, allowing you to rebuild trust and intimacy in ways you might have thought were no longer possible.

Take the first step toward a healthier relationship today by scheduling your confidential consultation.

If I know what love is, it is because of you.

What couples come to us for

Every relationship is its own world—but the places couples get stuck tend to rhyme. You might see yourselves in one of these. You might see yourselves in all of them. Either way, you're in good company, and none of it means your relationship is broken.

The same fight, on repeat

You know the one. It starts over something small and somehow lands in the same painful place every time. We'll help you find what's actually underneath it—and give you tools to talk about the hard stuff without it turning into a war.

Feeling more like roommates than partners

Somewhere between the kids, the jobs, the bills, and the sheer logistics of a life, the fun and flirtation got crowded out. That's not a character flaw—it's what happens when survival mode runs too long. Together we'll help you find your way back to each other.

Rebuilding after a breach of trust

Whether it's infidelity, a betrayal, or years of small letdowns, broken trust is heavy. Repair is possible—we've walked many couples through it—but it takes honesty, patience, and a safe space to do it in. We can be that space.

Navigating a big transition together

New baby, blended family, a move, a job change, an empty nest. Even good change is stress, and it can knock a couple off balance. We'll help you face it as a team instead of as two people bracing separately.

You don't have to wait for a crisis to reach out. Marriage and couples counseling isn't only for relationships on the brink—it's for any couple who wants to understand each other better and feel closer. That's worth investing in.

How we help couples reconnect

You don't need a dramatic blowup to justify getting help. Maybe you've just drifted.
Maybe the same argument keeps circling back. Maybe trust took a hit and you're not surehow to find your way back to each other. Wherever you are—we can work with that.

Our Las Vegas couples therapists are trained in proven, research-backed approaches, including the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In plain terms: these are two of the most studied, most effective ways to help couples break out of negative cycles, repair trust, and actually feel connected again—not just coexist. Your therapist will meet you where you are and tailor the work to your relationship.

Premarital Counseling in Las Vegas

Not every couple comes to us in crisis—and thank goodness for that. Premarital counseling is one of the best gifts you can give your future marriage. Together we'll build communication skills, get on the same page about money, family, and expectations, and set you up to start strong.

Just mention premarital counseling when you book your free consultation.

Are you prepared for couples counseling?

Some couples don’t seek counseling until they’re emotionally empty. If that’s where you are, don’t worry. We can get things turned around! But please know that it will take YOUR hard work. It’s all too easy to see the massive changes your partner needs to make while holding on to resentment and unwillingness to change yourself.

It can be hard work to choose to let go of resentments, soften your heart and be vulnerable again. If you are ready to sincerely do that work, couples counseling can be an incredibly rewarding process. I can help you get back to joy, love and happiness with your partner.

I’d like you to earnestly ask yourself these questions about couples counseling:

-Am I ready to look at and humbly accept responsibility for the pains that I have caused and my behaviors that take a toll on the relationship?

-Am I ready to give this my all?

If you and your partner can both answer “yes!” then, please, contact me and let’s get started. If one or both of you answer “no”, my experience is that couples counseling right now isn’t going to be a good fit. Progress is slow, meaning it takes much longer and is way more expensive. And it just really isn’t fun for any of us.

I’d hate for you to try counseling now when you’re in a “no” place, have it be ineffective or inefficient and then conclude that counseling doesn’t work. If you can’t offer a whole-hearted “yes!” right now but you want to be in that willing-to-work place, let’s start with some individual sessions.

Couples Therapy in Las Vegas: Common Questions

Does couples therapy actually work?

It can—and it does, all the time. The honest answer is that it works when both of you are willing to show up and do the work. Many of the couples we see notice real shifts within just a few sessions. You don't have to have it all figured out before you start; that's what we're here for.

Do you offer online couples therapy, or is it in person only?

Both. You can see us in person at our Las Vegas office near Summerlin, or meet with your therapist online from wherever you are in Nevada. We'll help you pick whatever actually fits your life and your schedule.

How much does couples counseling cost?

Your first consultation is completely free—no pressure, no commitment. Session fees vary by therapist, and we're happy to walk you through the details during your consultation so there are no surprises. You'll always know what to expect before you book.

What approaches do your couples therapists use?

Our therapists draw on evidence-based methods including the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—two of the most researched, most effective frameworks for helping couples reconnect. Don't worry about the jargon; your therapist will explain what they're doing and why, every step of the way.

How long does couples counseling take?

It depends on you two and what you're working through—there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some couples find what they need in a handful of sessions; others stay a while and go deeper. Your therapist will talk through a realistic plan with you early on so you always know what to expect.

Do you offer premarital counseling?

We do, and we love this work. Premarital counseling helps engaged and newly committed couples build a strong foundation before the wedding—not after the cracks show. Just mention it when you schedule your free consultation.

What areas do you serve?

We work with couples throughout Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, and North Las Vegas from our office at 3455 Cliff Shadows Pkwy, Suite 220—plus online across Nevada. You're welcome here.
